Cool cake. Looks like pro's work.

Kids' birthdays are sure elaborate nowadays. My nephew, also 3, had a superhero cake with primary colors that involved Batman, Superman, etc., on various layers. I couldn't bring myself to eat so much primary color marzipan. It didn't look like food. It was like being served a box of crayons, lol.

Husband is out of town, boo, so I'm roughing meals. Just had an apple, walnut, feta, spinach salad. It went down fine, but now my teeth feel like sandpaper from spinach grit.

Had Chinese today -- spinach and tofu soup, black bean chicken, salt-and-pepper tofu, belachan string beans, pea vine in garlic sauce and rice. Dessert was red bean soup.

Now having Girl Scout cookies and chai.
