Food anyone?

Happy Memorial Day everyone! (An American holiday.) I'm off to a local park to help some other men from our church cook breakfast for whoever shows up. sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, fruit, toast, etc. (Don't worry about men cooking; it's breakfast. One of the nice things about cooking breakfast foods is that they are extraordinarily difficult to mess up! ;) )

That's a very kind and caring thing to do, I love when other show compassion and kinds towards others!

Hey don't knock men cooking, some of the best chefs I know are men.

Finally satisfied my chicken tikka masala craving today, after it came up on this thread in what seems like ages ago. Naan, pilau, aloo gobi, too. Had a Kingfisher at the restaurant. Now having a Leinenkugel and some British wine gums.

I can't figure out why British wine gums taste so much better than what I usually find in the U.S. Maybe it's in my head, but they seem to have the perfect texture, don't stick to your teeth as much and have a less sugary aftertaste.

I normally don't eat them, but I made some today for an order and had a lot leftover, they were this hazelnut truffle, raspberry white chocolate truffle, a milk chocolate with a dark chocolate ganache, my favorite a chocolate truffle with a chocolate ganache filling with a little pepper kick...nothing beats a little heat!

I had the hazelnut, the raspberry and the hot truffle

Yikes. Truffles are so sweet. I find it hard to finish one.

Me too and I love chocolate. Can't eat those Lindt or Guerlaine chocolates either, it overdosing to me.

Could easily eat a block of Cadbury though....I've got some in the cupboard right now too....I need to be strong!

I would love to try a raspberry one....I've had pepper chocolate too, really unusual

At a wedding not long ago they served chilli chocolate ice cream....who would have thought, but it was delicious!
