What's new

Food anyone?

Wow Kay, you have to put your DOB just to enter this site.....I'd love to taste it

Gab, that chocolate place you went to sounds like just the place for me, just gotta go there!

Leelai, I think all U.S. alcohol makers are regulated so that they must make users enter DOB on websites, so I wasn't sure that the original link that I tried to post to the chocolate beer worked.

I've had and liked the beer, but I'm no beer expert. I think beer experts would turn up their noses.

Y'all are making me hungry with last nights conversation of beer, choco and now crispy duck...I had to go and grab me a crispy, cold green pear to chomp on!

A crisp, cold pear sounds very refreshing.

I don't know why I can never find a crisp one. I always think I'm going to like a pear, and then am disappointed. I must buy the wrong pears. I've tried a variety. I like Asian pears (sometimes called pear apples) though, which are almost always crisp. They tend to be more expensive in the U.S., though, and aren't sold as widely.

I just googled "crispy duck" and see what looks like a roasted duck. Is that what's called crispy duck in the UK? I've had Chinese food in the UK a few times, but I don't remember the menus. I think I just asked the waiters what was good in Chinese. (I'm Chinese, lol.)
