I also love garlic and do put it in many things also. Just never thought of my mashed potato.

I've never really eaten garlic on anything... I should try it sometime it sounds like a popular seasoning :)

It's very nice in a lot of dishes, my girls have always loved it.

One daughter makes garlic and cheese bread often, very nice....except for the time she confused garlic with ginger and we had ginger bread which was very different!

I love ginger on my food. Homemade ginger tea (good for sore throat and cough), Pickled ginger or sliced raw ginger (before i sing), orange and ginger on fish fillet, ginger on beef or chicken broth soup (for fever or cold), roasted chicken rubbed with honey ginger thyme, and rosemarie herb (for my girlfriend's parents so I can visit often).

Awww man...... I'm a vegetarian :(

You should try thinly sliced ginger salad with Italian dressing. That is your usual salad mixed with julienned ginger. The mixture gives some kick to your salad. This is good for people with migraines, headaches, cramping, and importantly known to lower bad cholesterol.

Sounds like it would make a good accompaniment to a large lump of Alberta prime rib. Think I'll try it next time I barbecue.
