is a Twinkie. It quite possibly could be the world's only perfect food. I say possibly because
the Ding Dong is challenging.

This is a Ding Dong.

I like Ding Dongs, but Ho Hos are easier to eat.

I lived on Ho Hos, Pringles, pizza and ginger ale in college.

Well thanks, now we know all about Twinkies & Dinkey Donkeys:-) Must say, the latter appeal more. It's the chocolate....

Do you know Jaffa Cakes over there?

l'm not thinking about the common MacVities version here but the pirate copies made by our local Budgens at half the price and double the orangey bit.
Properly orangey too, which hit you with their rhythm sticks.

Reckon they might well be in the running for top delishusness.

McVictie's brand Jaffa Cake is sold in Canada.
I've seen the packages in the cookie / biscuit section of grocery stores with specialty food departments.

Haven't tried them but I will.

The Dinkies picture looked fattening, let alone fried! Spoof images on the web confirm my fear!

The ding dongs look like Cadburys chocolate marshmallows.

I see other products from the makers, Hostess, resemble chocolate covered mini Swiss rolls.

All very nice and fattening. :) :(

I love orange Jaffa Cakes. I vaguely remember trying a raspberry version, too, but can't remember whether they were legit Jaffa Cakes or another brand's. I've also tried and liked Tunnock's tea cakes, but there's a U.S. brand that makes essentially the same thing, and they're sold in a tray, in a bunch, rather than individually wrapped. They're cheaper and more widely sold in the U.S., as cookies. I love Hobnobs, too.

Years ago, before British biscuits were more widely available in the U.S., I used to bring home suitcases of them on trips.

You are talking my language, KayKayKay. BTW, McVities claim that Jaffa Cakes are low calorie. I keep trying them out to prove the claim. :D

Lol. Low calorie. I guess it depends on how many you gulp down in one sitting. Who can have just a couple? Not me!

RASPBERRY Jaffa Cakes??? Never! Sac relieve... (No, gerrof you sp.chckr) Sacrelidge?
Whatever:-):-):-)

Apparently we here in the UK are the biggest consumers of bikkies in the entire Yuniverse. Not surprising when a cuppa tea can't do the job without a bikky.

We LUV them.

I think afternoon tea is the greatest British contribution to civilization!

Oh and it's sacrilege.

Thanks!! Always had a problem with that darned word:-):-)

Re our Contribution to Civ.....of COURSE it is:-)

What's YOUR favourite bikky? Or, if I have to, cookie? (not including cakey things like Jaffas).

Think mine is Bourbon.
