Bit hot for mulled wine here Richard.
A chilled rose is more the go.

Oh yes! Chilled wine. We even chill the red which for us tastes better than at room temperature. Worrisome buffs :)

Chilled, hot, spicy... I love it all! I had a drop of Baileys on ice last night! Yummy! I also love Archers (peach schnapps) with lemonade. Sweet tooth, I know! Hubby made a lovely black bean noodle stir fry last night. He's becoming very experimental lately. He's discovered talents he never knew he had!

Have to say Richard the plantain is an acquired taste.
It's something I cook up for guests to try,but not on hubby's list of favorites.
His response is why eat plantains when you can eat potatoes???

That's his loss then. Does he like sweet potatoes?

My wife makes plantain staffed with a processed block of guava stuffed into a slot cut in the flesh of the plantain, and all baked in the skin. It's too sweet for me!

I try and disguise it by mashing with butter and spring onions.but he knows and pushes it around his plate.
It's called kumala here.

Well it's food time again.
