It's a lot like porridge. It's similar in texture to grits, but made with farina (ground wheat) instead of ground corn. Made its debut in 1893, I think. They also make Cream of Rice, which I haven't tried. There is also chocolate Cream of Wheat, I believe, which I also haven't tried but I should. This is one of those awesome stick-to-your-ribs goodness breakfasts.

Cream of wheat with strawberry jam is the best!

Celery nut sultana salad, Indian curry slice, coleslaw, veg and Yorkshire puddings. Yum, yum! Spring rolls, sesame prawn sandwich.

Oh my goodness, so many choices! I think i would have to pick chicken covered in Peruvian Green Sauce! Green sauce is absolutely fantastic. Its mildly spicey, and I love to put it on many things, but in my opinion i think it goes best on chicken and white rice. It is definetly a must try!

By the way, Marie, why are there so few Indian restaurants in California? You can't move for Chinese, Mexican - or even French - restaurants but Indian restaurants are few and far between.

It maybe something to do with the percentages of immigrants? I believe Chinese ad Latin Americans are in the highest numbers there. Let's see what Marie says.

We had Pizza with cheese and tomato with added cheese, just because we love melted cheese and hubby doesn't. I al also added cheese to the two naan bread we had in the fridge. Yummy. Dog and cat loved it as well.

Added a Vanuatu style fried rice, noodle tomato and cheese dish
And an oven full of baked kumala chips.
Played games with all the kids
Finished with ice creams, fruit salad and chocolate cake.

Plus lollies to take home
Resting up with feet up on the couch.
Left overs for supper.

We had red beans with mincemeat onion and veg mixed in with rice, for the 2nd day. The food improves when kept for 24+ hours.

Delicious, but my wife had stomach ache! :(

Ah! Bad luck her. I hate that. The older I get, the more I get indigestion. I can't eat a lot of bread which is annoying having a bakery market seller as a husband.
