Food anyone?

Combined leftover white rice, mixed veggies and cream of mushroom soup to make a simple hot dish.

We had Pizza with cheese and tomato with added cheese, just because we love melted cheese and hubby doesn't. I al also added cheese to the two naan bread we had in the fridge. Yummy. Dog and cat loved it as well.

Yummmm.... Extra cheese my favorite.

By the way, Marie, why are there so few Indian restaurants in California? You can't move for Chinese, Mexican - or even French - restaurants but Indian restaurants are few and far between.

Not so hard to find in L.A. or the Bay Area, but maybe not as easy as say in the UK.

Many Southeast Indians in California are educated, so are maybe less likely to open restaurants and more likely to be in industries such as tech and medicine.

Oops! Never drink on an empty stomach. Bad memories! Hee Hee

We (my daughter and I) had yummy lasagne. I'm now drinking hot chocolate with cinnamon reading the news.

I'm jealous. I made do with port and cheesecake. The only other things in the fridge were condiments and vegetables, which I don't really consider food, lol.

My hubby had to sacrifice some of his Port to the Xmas pudding as we didn't have rum in the house. Hee hee. I put in Archers so fairs fair. Our pudding is heavily leaning towards apricots this year. We both love them and that's what I had in the cupboard. The raisins and sultanas can wait for another Xmas cake to be made next week. As a child, I hated fruit cake and pudding. It's weird how your taste buds change, the older you get. Our fridge is starting to look overloaded now. Xmas is coming. I envy Julie as her Xmas day is nearly here and ours is still 14 hours away. Still that's a good thing, hers will be over before ours. Our kids may be teenagers but they still get excited, bless them. My hubby admitted "feeling" his prezzie under the tree. How sad is that! Ha ha. We are kids underneath.

Oh definitely the boozy kind. What's the point of having it without it. My kind of Xmas cake is the glazed top with nuts all over it, glazed with Archers and apricot jam. Yummy. I hate icing and marzipan. My hubby has his sister to make a little one for him. He loves all that stuff.
My daughter was watching cooking channel yesterday on BBC and he was making flapjacks so she made me some. Isn't she sweet. They were delicious. We didn't have all the ingredients so just used what we had in the cupboard. She bought chocolate last night so we will be dunking them in that tonight and chilling them for later.
