What's new

Food anyone?

Had roast beef with roast potato, leeks and chestnuts, carrots and parsnip yesterday. Dessert was lemon trifle followed by a slice of White chocolate bombe.

We will have turkey breast, roast veg and roast potatoes followed by fruit salad with double cream today. Guess who's chef. :) :)

Well! We had avocado and prawns or melon then turkey, beef, sausages wrapped in bacon, apple, red onion sausage stuffing and all my favourite veg. Then followed up with homemade Xmas pudding with custard and double cream, then coffee and Bendicks mint creams. Totally stuffed for the rest of the day.
We will have the rest of the beef today! It was scrumdidliumptious.

It doesn't seem fair that all you Brits had loads of yummy puddings AND Downton Abbey on the same day.

A great restaurant in my imagination: one that sells nothing but British puddings.

We are watching Countrywise on ITV covering farmer's markets, sourcing foods for a new year's fest. Venison, spouts, real ale. Programme also coming from Borough Market, Southwark. A fabulous place with great food stalls
