Food anyone?

Sounds delish,what is in it,besides chicken.
What are the spices etc?

I'm hopeless in the kitchen. I know picatta has capers and lemons, but I don't have a clue what else. All I know is it's yummy, lol.

We are watching Countrywise on ITV covering farmer's markets, sourcing foods for a new year's fest. Venison, spouts, real ale. Programme also coming from Borough Market, Southwark. A fabulous place with great food stalls

Did you see hubby? He says there was a tv camera at Wells Farmers Market. Didn't see that Countrywise.
Loads of gammon with yummy honey, brown sugar and whole grain mustard glaze. Pasta with tomato basil and turkey.

I did look out for a baker. I did see a stall but I'll check on ITV player. Just checked. They didn't do Wells, byt did Welbeck Farm Shop, and a Kent orchard and apple drink maker.

Having a very long dinner party
Menu
Lime caprioskas cocktails
Hot toast with foie Gras
Prawn canapés with avocado
Scallop on the half shell with lemongrass ,Thai curry drizzle
Fresh prawn risotto
Roast pork crackling ,Onion jam
Potatoes au gratin
Green beans with tomatoes and gingered cabbage

Pineapple carpaccio with minted sugar and home grown vanilla bean ice cream
Assorted red wines
Finishing with lemmoncello

We were at home to see in the NY, and to see out the remains of our colds / flu.

I am venturing into cake baking a boozy rich fruit cake ( straight faces, P..lease!). Last time I baked was a sponge 15 years ago! Im looking forward to the smell and taste.
