Frame bent, sound not working

He frame of my ipad2 got bent right at the thin part near the volume button (and the button to torn sound off and on). Now there is no sound, both buttons are not usable, and the volume box is in the center of the screen at all times.

Any fixes other than Apple store? I have a two hour drive to the closest one.

Any one else have this issue and was it fixable?
