Games Workshop Announces The Horus Heresy: Drop Assault for iOS

Complex Games, Games Workshop, and CROOZ, have announced a new iOS game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, entitled The Horus Heresy: Drop Assault.

The fast-paced tactical game is the first ever video game set in the massively popular Horus Heresy universe, inviting players to choose a side in the civil war between the Emperor’s Space Marine Legions in the 30th Millennium.

Gameplay involves building and customizing bases, mustering armies, and engaging the enemy in intense tactical battles, on the side of the Traitors or the Loyalists. Fans can create a Chapter with their friends, and challenge their rivals around the world.

The dark treachery and over the top battles of this epic civil war make it perfect for the game Complex are making and aficionados of our worlds will be very excited about this legendary setting being brought to life as a video game for the first time.”
