Gardening!

I'm having spaghetti Bolognese tonight. Yum. Pecan pie and cream for afters!
I'm using herbs from the garden too. At least I don't have to water again today.

Yesterday, I had to nip out sharpish in the afternoon to mow 2 lawns before the rain set in.

I'm glad I did as it is raining constantly and gently which is so beneficial for the garden. Also it's saving us watering. :)

The first flower has opened on the clematis on our arch :).

I'll need to look up the name - I think it's a variety of Grandiflora ....

Did you see my Clematis Montana? It would be a lot bigger than this if I let it. I had a Clematis Montana Rubens as well but one of our cold winters took that from me. I'll need to get another I think.

Montana is one of our favourite clematis. yours looks great. I'm afraid I would leave it to grow and grow, but with lots of training.

Bobbi, your garden looks wonderful.

Richard, I can't afford to let it grow because it would swamp all my other climbers. It really is a monster plant. The worst of all my climbers is the Russian vine or 'Mile a minute'! Yes, it does seem to grow that fast. My privet is completely swamped, poor thing. Lovely little white flowers though.

Now, we clear put the Russian vines. They are extremely invasive and choke other plants in our garden.
