Goblins vs Gnomes Expansion Coming to Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft

Blizzard Entertainment announced today that one of Warcraft’s greatest rivalries is coming to Hearthstone next week, with the Goblins vs Gnomes expansion pack for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft on iPad, Windows and Mac.

Due to arrive in the App Store on December 8 in the Americas, and on December 9 in Europe, Korea, Taiwan, and China, the Goblins vs Gnomes card packs add over 120 new cards to craft, win, or purchase, depicting some of Azeroth’s most mischievous machinists.

But what is it about Goblins vs Gnomes that fans love so much? Here’s an explanation from the official Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft blog:

“These little gals and guys have a way of getting under our skin. Their antics inspire affection in many, and annoyance in some, but they always get a reaction. The manic mayhem that seems to happen whenever they’re around is a natural fit for the delightful surprises you’ll find in Hearthstone.”

You can buy your Goblins vs Gnomes cards as packs, craft them with dust, or earn them in the Arena. They work just like classic card packs, but will have a new wrapper, and all new cards.
