Good email client rather than outlook?

Hi everyone,
Can anyone recommend a good, safe email client for windows? Preferibly one into which you can import a .pst file to fill it with contacts from previous outlook.

You can use Mozila Thunderbird. It is a fully featured, secure and very functional email client and RSS feed reader.

+1 for Thunderbird. I'm an avid user of Mozilla Firefox and I know that Thunderbird is a decent one.
