GPS Tethering on wifi iPad?

Hi, I know this is a long shot...is there anyway to use your phone as a gps receiver and tether the gps signal to the wifi ipad?

I know it half works if you have an iphone. In my case I have a Nokia E72.

Has anybody managad to do this?
