Grand Theft Auto is one of the most popular video games that ever existed. Launched back in 1997, the action-adventure open world video game created by games developer Rockstar North has gained thousands of fans all over the world. The game concentrates around a main character (the player) that’s actually a criminal in a city and commits all sorts of murders, bank robberies and other crimes.
But Rockstar has made a presence in the mobile world as well. And it has been promising to bring its latest development Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to the iOS in order to celebrate its very special 10th birthday. This week, however, it has officially landed in the App Store.
“Welcome back to Vice City. Welcome back to the 1980s. From the decade of big hair, excess and pastel suits comes a story of one man's rise to the top of the criminal pile. Vice City, a huge urban sprawl ranging from the beach to the swamps and the glitz to the ghetto, was one of the most varied, complete and alive digital cities ever created.â€
The app has been optimized for Retina enabled devices and thus sports beautiful and breathtaking graphics. New features have been added to the games such as enhanced graphic effects, customized firing and targeting options. Users can now emerge themselves in massive campaigns that guarantee many hours of engaging game play. Also, layouts can now be customized and so can the controls. When in need of a break, gamers can save their progress from now on within their iCloud accounts
To purchase the game, users have to head over to the App Store and pay a total of $4.99 for the game.
