Great Little War Game

A few days go I finished the campaign that comes with the purchase, the bought the "All Out War" campaign and just finished it today.
Great game, looking forward to further map packs.

Did you guys consider a map creator and scenario designer function? It would add to the replayability.

A setting for difficulty level would be good too.
 
Nice one, thanks. You'll be pleased to know that our designer is just finishing up a new 15 mission campaign pack.

And yes, there will be an editor released that will be capable of making maps you can get onto the device without any chicanery. Still working on it but it will be out at some point asap.
 
Hey Rubicon I wanted to tell you congrats on an AWESOME game. I d/l the free version, played a few missions then went back to the app store for the HD version. Very pleased.
I have a couple questions about it:

In the settings screen what does the Mission Intros and Show Upkeep do? I've toggeled them and don't notice a difference.

Any plans for Game Center support or online VS mode?

I'm stuck on the 4th mission, why do I suck at this game?

Gamecenter integration for the achievements is coming in the next update, along with some graphical enhancements and that campaign pack.

Online multiplayer is a "for the future" item as it has to be done in a play by email kinda way which is difficult and costly to develop, test and maintain.

Great game is right! As a big fan of Military Madness, I'm having a blast playing GLWG!
Thanks for making this brilliant version for the iPad! I'm recommending it to all my friends!

Of course... I do have a few suggestions though to make this the best little war game ever (lol for me) =]

1) Shadows on the terrain to clarify elevation differences.
2) Allow friendly units to move thru each-other
3) increase movement range of transport helicopter
4) Allow units to fire then move
5) Allow units to block LOS

Found what looks like a bug:
"Tank Jackers"
North of the northern landing point.
The enemy sometimes drops units off in the sea, where they are stuck.

(We did once have units doing LOS but it sucked ass, gameplay wise)

Tank Jackers thing is a known issue and is fixed in v1.4 which is going into Apple soon.
 
Take the four nearest derricks top and bottom, plus the two in front of you. Use jeeps to get there quick (just dodge the guards) then simply defend the middle bit with the artillery and a sniper or two.

You don't need a massive army to hold out, plus making a massive army costs money off your target.

I've tried that a few times... the ai just makes a ton of bazooka and grunts.. and I stand no chance!

Seems like you're in such a bottleneck over on the left... ai is much faster at getting across the board.
 
Is there any way to skip a mission? I can't get passed it... and I'd like to continue the game somehow. It'd be silly to have to quit because of one mission.
