I'm an elementary teacher in Ontario. I enjoy gadgets and using technology in the classroom with my students. I bought the original iPad shortly after it came out and loved it from the outset. What was cool for me is that my teenagers have not 
really taken to it so, unlike my Mac which they use all the time and I have to fight or, my iPad is left untouched(they see it as merely 'an oversized iPod'! Anyway, I recently updated to the iPad 2(second-hand after the previous owner moved up). I was finding that the original seemed to be slowing down as I updated apps to accommodate the retina display, and the new one is much faster. I look forward to learning through the posts on this forum.
