So "my" owl is a Great Horned Owl. We had a pair of these who nested near where I grew up. Majestic and a little intimidating up close. <img src="http://www.ipadforums.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=55097"/>

These owls are so beautiful!!! I never really noticed that before when I've "thought" of owls! This is a cool avatar change!!!

I like slides! We had a metal slide in our backyard. We would take waxed paper and rub it all over the surface in order to go faster! The slide would get really hot in the summer and we had to be careful to not get burned! My little brother fell off the top and broke his arm

They make me dizzy now But back in the olden days, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, there was nothing better than lying back and watching the sky go around. I was never a fan of slides, I found them scary. Still do!

Lol! Yeah, you're about 5 seconds older than me, sissy!! I think I learned to like slides when I crawled on the neck of Dino our pet dinosaur and slid down his long neck!!! lol!!

I'm with Anthea - roundabouts for me We'd make it go dangerously fast so that the centrifugal force would lift our legs up and out, while we hang on for dear life with our little slippery fingers! Lol! Good times....

Your slippery little fingers + my slide = a Slip 'N Slide! That was fun but kinda hurt as you run and lunge your body onto this wet plastic majigger!!!

Lars! Fire it up!!!! The only problem is that now we are women up front!!!! How about this...we can SLIP into our bikinis and SLIDE into my jacuzzi? That works for me!
