A very Happy and Prosperous New Year to all forum members here.
This is Rituraj Sharma. I belong to a place called Jorhat in Assam, India. As a new iPad owner, I thought what better day to join this wonderful forum than Jan 1st.
My search for a new tablet began sometime in July/August. Primarily, I wanted a browsing device that provides the best alternative to a desktop experience. Initially, I only looked at android devices, mostly because they were easier on the pocket and offered great specs. I had almost decided on the Nexus 7 2013, when I saw prices of the iPad 4 going down, due to the advent of the iPad Air. One day, I found a great deal on the iPad 4 wifi+cellular 32gb that I just couldn't let go and I went ahead and placed the order. It arrived few days later and I was pleasantly surprised to see the date of manufacture - October 2013. I knew the Air had a great new lightweight design, but came with the same retina display as the ipad 4. The 64 bit processor and the marginal spec bump didn't appeal much to me. After the purchase, I went ahead and got myself a new Airtel prepaid 3g connection and now I have round the clock connectivity.
On the personal side, I am a PR person working at a government organisation. My personal interests are photography and automobiles. I have found the ipad's retina display to be a great tool to show off pictures clicked by me. However, not everything is perfect. There are many queries that I seek answers for and this forum seems to be the best place for those queries.
I look forward to having a great stay in this forum.
Cheers
