Help with Icon badge notifications

Hello all! I'm new here and still trying to learn how to navigate this site. I have a question if anyone is able to help me please. My App Store icon says I have 3 updates. When I go into the App Store, no updates are showing up. All other tabs are working, but the updates tab comes up blank. I've tried turning my iPad off, then back on again several times in hopes it would be an easy fix. Maybe the number badge just needs to be cleared? I don't know what's wrong, or why I can't access my apps that supposedly need updating. Any advice is appreciated! Thank You.

A bunch of us are having the same issue. There is a workaround available.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.
