Glu Mobile has released Hercules: The Official Game for iOS and Android devices. This is the official game and is based on the upcoming Hercules theatrical film which will hit theaters on July 25, 2014. It’s already becoming a tradition to release mobile versions of upcoming movies ahead of their official release. Niccolo de Masi, Glu CEO, said the following:
“Hercules: The Official Game is Glu’s second title to market as part of our ongoing relationship with MGM. We believe the game captures the spirit of Greek mythology, while delivering console-quality graphics and intense gameplay.”
In Hercules: The Official Game, players will be able to complete battles against a variety of enemies, using their reflexes and swiping, tapping controls to perform combos and special attacks. Players will defend and swipe on the screen in specific directions, represented by pale arrows on the screen, in order for their hero to draw his shield.
