Heroes of Might & Magic III HD Edition Comes to iPad

Ubisoft’s Heroes of Might & Magic III HD Edition has arrived in the App Store for iPad. The 15-year-old game has had a full HD revamp, complete with wide-screen display, and features seven campaign scenarios and 48 skirmish maps, plus a local multiplayer mode and a map editor.

And as you’d expect, the iPad version has been fully updated with intuitive touch controls.

The new version of this classic game has been developed b y retro games specialists DotEmu, which has ensured that the revamp stays faithful to the roots of the original game.

“Community is at the core of the Might & Magic series, and we wanted to thank their everlasting support by bringing back the epic tale of Queen Catherine Ironfist”, said Erwan le Breton, Might & Magic creative director. “We wanted to keep the heart of what made Heroes III one of the most renowned titles of the series while providing an enhanced visual experience and offering the possibility to also play the game on tablets”.
