Thanks for the welcome and the links to the manual and forum rules.
I got my ipad 2 on the Friday it was released. I mainly got it for testing of apps I'm working on. But it only took a few days for me to rely on it on a daily basis. Now I use it for all my meetings, note taking, presentations, etc. No regrets so far!
