Hiya I'm new here im 21 and from England, not sure how I've found this forum but I have haha I'm not a complete newby with apple, had the iPhone 3,4, 4s which is now my current iPhone (broken wifi ) and now my parents bought me the ipad for my 21st! It's the one with retiner screen and the small pin connecter so is that the 4?!! Haha thanks Adam.

Hi on the 4s I believe it's a very common fault and my warranty ran out by like 12 days haha

Hi Adam and welcome to the Forum!

If you have the lightning connector then you have an ipad4...... I would still be taking your iPhone back to Apple to see if they will do something about it for you especially if its just out of warranty. You never know unless you try!

Oh and I hope you had a great Birthday, you certainly received a wonderful gift!
