Hotmail not working on ipad3

I am having issues with hotmail on my iPad 3, can't send mails to hotmail accounts whereas it working for yahoo and gmail in some cases. Likewise mails coming from other accounts are barely received. My mail had got crashed and now I am using Hotmail Buzzr as an alternate app. Please help. Thanks

Have you tried deleting, then re-installing the hotmail account?
