How do I delete all emails at one time from the inbox.

Unfortunately, the only place you can do a bulk delete is in the Trash folder. For all other folders in the Mail app, you'll have to select each one individually, whether you're swiping or use the Edit/select method.

Ever since switched to an IPhone and an IPad in April of 2013 .... I TOO AM looking for ANY e-mail app that will allow me to delete all of my daily mail (100 plus) messages with one simple select all , then delete action... OR at worst an app that DOES download mail at all UNLESS I request the app to do so...

To be honest I no longer even have any e-mail apps on the phone or the tablet... With my old android phone I coudl at least delete the data (one step) that would delete all the e-mails

I use a Paid version of Eudora on my computers and it has me spoiled I guess...

ANYONE have the name of an App I could use.. (willing to pay and it does not have to be cheap...!)

Hi Bob - well the native Mail app on the iPad cannot be removed and I've not used another mail app that offers 'bulk' deletion, but if one exists then hopefully others will 'chime in' w/ suggestions. Several comments that may help (or not?): 1) Setup your email account on a computer to send repetitive unwanted emails to a spam folder or to trash (of course only useful if you receive a LOT of emails from the same sender); or 2) When your 'Inbox' in the iPad mail app is open on the left margin, press the 'Edit' button - a circle will appear on the left of each message - quickly press those not wanted which permits a 'bulk' deletion of the checked emails - faster but not fully satisfying - about all that I can suggest - good luck and let us know if you find an iPad mail app that fulfills your needs - might help others. Dave :)
