How do I recover lost network password?

When I try to connect to the Internet, I get a request to enter a password (which I have forgotten). How can I recover it? It strikes me as unusual that the password is no longer effective. Anyone have a similar problem?

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

I saw your password question. Are you saying that you are being asked for a password, which you have forgotten, but are still able to get Internet access on your iPad? The iPad will remember user account names and passwords and enter them automatically, just like your PC will. But are you actually talking about Internet access or access to specific web sites via the Safari browser?

If you have a windows machine connected to the same wireless network, you could run WirelessKeyView
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wireless_key.html

But if the iPad happens to be the only device connected to the wifi network, you may have to access your wireless router and recreate the wifi network.

How do I recover my forgotten iPF password. Silly me, I jotted it down on a scrap of paper which I threw away. I didn't add it to my secure document with all of my passwords on it!
