Everywhere! To and from work and it's always in my pocketbook. I wake up with it and go to sleep with it.

Good I don't feel so bad!! I am not the only one that's obsessed lol. I am the only one of my "kind" in my real life world.

I can say, I don't take it for walks. Other than that it hangs with me when I'm home.

Mine is mostly home on my wifi network or if I am visiting friends.

Same here. Even if I know I might not have time to use it at work, it still goes with me. I read my book if there is a little time spare

I would take my iPad 2 with me everywhere I go except work of course, but I don't trust nobody when I am out & about as you are another target for any potential thief, and the way I see it, I did Not work hard for some low life to steal my precious iPad from me, I mean I have got a quad core laptop which is in a backpack laptop bag designed purposely to Not broadcast the fact I have a laptop, so maybe with more security when I am out I will take it with me more, but if I do go out & I need to take my iPad then I leave my laptop behind as it is 1 less gadget to steal......sorry if I sound negative but you cannot be too careful these days!

No I am from U.K actually, it really does Not matter what part of the world you are from, you are Not safe anywhere anymore!

I take my iPad 2 everywhere I go. Because I have a keyboard slash case people don't really notice it until I actually sit down and use it. MAny of my class mates that my iPad 2 was a laptop the first two weeks of class until they asked me how much it costed, and then I had to explain how it wasn't a laptop and that it is an iPad 2 with a keyboard and case.

I would love to continue listening to my TED talks when I have to take long car journeys. anyone have any good suggestions without me having to install a new car stereo? I hav a peugeot 308

Don't leave home without it, I carry it through the house when I move from room to room and it's right next to my bed when I go to sleep. We are joined at the hip....

It doesn't matter what kind of car you have, as long as you have an auxiliary jack in it. Newer cars have them; some have USB as well. You can use either to plug in your iPad so that the sound plays out of your car's speakers, same as with any MP3 player. If your car lacks either, you can have the stereo replaced to add one with an auxiliary jack and/or USB plug. You can buy an auxiliary jack cable for a few bucks almost anywhere, like at Radio Shack, Best Buy, Target, etc. (Adding: If you're in Italy, someplace like Saturn will sell them as well.)

My cars have both auxiliary jacks and USB, but I don't notice any difference in sound quality. YMMV.

If you can't or don't want to plug into your car stereo, you might consider a Bluetooth speaker. I recommend a Jambox. 200 bucks. Great sound, easily portable and user friendly. Good battery life.

Oh, you also could consider an FM transmitter if your car lacks auxiliary and USB outlets. I've tried only one, though, received as a gift years ago. It was supposed to be a good one, but I still found sound quality spotty (depends on interference, radio frequency use where you are). For the price of a good transmitter weighed against more flexible uses, I'd still go with something like a Jambox instead. Again, YMMV.
