How to use dictionary while reading websites or pdf in ibooks or mendekay

Hi every apple friends,
Whenever i want to use the ditionary while reading pdf or websites, i have to close that application and go to the dictionary applications that i have got and then return. I just wonder is there any easiest way to use ditionary like when you are working with laptop and using babylon?

Apps are isolated from each other, so there isn't any way for an app to use another app as a dictionary. So copy&paste is the only way to use any dictionary app you've purchased.

Some few apps, mostly Apple's, use the system's dictionary and can look up words that way. Some of the other book readers also have built in dictionaries, some local and some require an internet connection. iBooks, Kindle, and Stanza all have dictionary lookup available.

The usual method is to tap and hold a word until it is selected, and a popup menu appears. The menu will have a dictionary or look up option.
