How to view 'Other'?

On my Ipad, when viewed in Itunes, I can see how much space is used by the various file types (video, apps, books,...)

There is a sizeable amount of space used by 'Other'.
How do I view what 'Other' contains so I can make a decision on cleaning it up or not?

I saw that on mine, too.

Other is the formatted partition for the os, and apple's apps such as videos, and mail. And the mail messages too. So in other words, no you can't clean it up.
