I pad closes randomly from any page

Okay so when ever I get on app or I tunes,Facebook,instagram etc.it randomly closes down from that page and goes back to the home screen and I don't know what going on I only have had it for a month and I tried clearing all the apps that I don't use and it keeps doing it. Is It a virus?

When you buy/download an app from the app store, it does close down the store and take you to where the icon for the new app is to show the installation progress. This is good, normal behaviour.

did you try to switch of the iPad completely and switch it back on ?
