iCloud & MobileMe problem

Hi,

I have just updated my and my wife's iPhone's to iOS 5. I have also signed up for the free MobileMe email address by turning on the Mail under iCloud in the setting menu.

Once I put in what I wanted my new address to be it automatically added the email account to my phone and when I go into mail it's there. I then did exactly the same on my wife's phone and again switched on Mail and created an @me address. The strange thing is this account dose not appear when going into Mail the client but iClould dose appear when going to settings - mail, contacts, calenders.

Any help would be great.
