What's new

If you are new, please post an introduction thread.

Greetings all. I am new to the iworld, being a devoted android fan and hacker, but decided to get an iPad because of the numerous work related apps that are available. And I must say, I am very impressed with my new toy thus far. Anyway..
I'm a concert lighting designer from houston Texas and looking forward to learning more as time goes. Thanks for having me.

Hello ifriends!

New to the site, and excited about sharing and learning with you all. Fiance' has the ipad 2(16g) and my son has an iPod 4th gen, and I somehow ended up being the only person in my house without an idevice. Well, that is now short lived. I grew tired of sharing the ipad 2 , so I decided to get my own. My new iPad 3 32G is on its way! Taking tomorrow off to celebrate.... oh yeah, and I am not sharing!!!:p

Cheers!

Hello everyone! My preferred Internet handle is Moony Blues. I've had my iPad since the middle of December 2011. And I'm loving every minute of it. I kind of do a bit of everything with it, a little personal finance, games, ebooks, web browsing, and video/audio streaming. I have an iPad2 with just wifi, but I have an android phone that works as a mobile hotspot, so I don't feel like I'm missing anything. I'm looking forward to lurking about a bit to see what I can find. Thanks!

Hi- glad to have found this forum. I was having a problem with my iPad2 and came across this forum accidentally while looking for help. I found the answer within minutes so thank you very much.

Such a friendly and knowledgable place.

Jumped into an IPAD 2 over the weekend. Pick it up Monday probably. Price drop is what got me to jump. I have too many electronic products, (she says) but they all keep me busy. Looking forward to my very first Apple product. Work in Banking industry.

Hi... I am a caregiver but retired for now taking care of my grandson... I have two older sisters up north that I was able to visit after 5 years.. And I took my wonderful IPAD2 along with me..I have over 2,000 photos and videos that we all enjoyed seeing and remembering family..if you can load as many photos as you can...these photos will help your wife in many ways..and also be enjoyable for you both to have the time together...I also was able to show the photos and videos to my mother in law who also has ALS... While your wife may or may not remember it is still beneficial for her and you..
