I'm an Android guy and inherited an iPad "3" or whatever we are supposed to call it. It's a beautifully designed gadget. A pleasure to use, but it's frustrating that Apple places such limits on their stuff. Still, I am having fun learning from the forum.

Hi from new Zealand. I am an aviation risk manager and wanted an iPad for the electronic flight bag apps and flight rules docs. So much more convenient than having reams of books on my desk at work now. Looking at jail breaking soon but need to develope more confidence in how to use this thing first. It's my first iPad. I have had a MacBook pro for years and have an iPhone 4.

I have an IPad 2 and am quite comfortable with all operations. However, after upgrading to IOS 5.0 the incoming and outgoing email sounds went mute. I have checked the settings and everything is correct. Any suggestions? Tks fro Rio de Janeiro Brazil

Hi there,
Another Apple freak from Brazil here. Just got the new iPad, whatta beauty this retina thing is!
Although my family is into iPads since we got the very first model 2 yrs ago, only now I decided to use one on a daily basis. I'm sure I'll explore a lot of your collective knowledge, specially about how to effectively use it in ugly windoze networks.

Rgs,
Mordor
