Hi all,
I've been issued with an iPad at work for testing and evaluation purposes and I won't lie, I am not a user of functionally clumsy fashion accessories bearing half eaten apple logos by choice.
On opening the box, I can only find two small multi-lingual booklets continaing CYA notes and disclaimers about EU and FCC compliance plus two half eaten fruit stickers; no instruciton manuals issued and since this is a test, no IT help desk support; thus I fear I shall need all the help I can get to find my way though the myriad of counter intuitive menus and pointless 'features' on the iPad and hopefully can find some help easing the pain via this forum.
Despite being disdainful of my newly issued accessory, I shall be as courteous in asking for, and most grateful in receiving, whatever helpful advice possible while this test continues. Hopefully my questions aren't completely gadget illiterate
To answer some of the background questions from johnny Apple, I don't have too many gadgets, I use an android bat-fone (only to make calls and occassionally read e-mail, but I admit a preferrence for pre-'smart' Nokia and Ericcson telephones) and use a laptop (Intel with Win7) for email, searching the inter-web for information, wasting time on YouTube, storing and viewing digital photographs and everything else an iPad claims to do.
The next gadget I aim to procure is a GoPro camera with a car and helmet mounting kit in order to produce YouTube friendly videos.
