Hello I am Irene from Greece and my daddy just bought his first iPad Mini :P Now I am waiting for him to be bored and pass it to me haha! I use an iPod Touch now :P Well I am on the ipadforums for the Hay Day game ^_^ Greetings!

I am anxious to try out this site. I am a computer software trainer and now adding iPad training to my list of course offerings. Love to learn new things so that I can teach others. Liz

The iPadForums.net community prides itself on being a friendly community geared towards learning all we can about the Apple iSlate. To do this we like to promote a positive and professional atmosphere where people are not afraid to ask questions.

The only dumb question is the one unasked, so even if you are at the very beginner level you will find that we are here to assist and share knowledge together.

Please start an introduction thread in this section by clicking

We've made the above links automatically for your assistance to make it easier to get your first thread started.

Tell us a bit about yourself, for example:

  • Why are you interested in the iSlate? What the heck is iSlate? I thought this was the iPAD Forum! ! !
  • What are your hobbies?
  • What other gadgets are you using?

This will help us to better answer your questions as we will have a rough gauge as to your knowledge level.

Thanks for participating and we hope to see you back on the site on a regular basis!

What the heck is iSlate? I thought this was the iPAD Forum! ! !

I am a retired Director of Industrial sales; with an Masters in Engineering Management and Marketing; BS in Physics, Math and Electrical Engineering but not computer science. My computer knowledge stems from practical experience and self taught repair, construction, implementation, and multiple iterations of multiple Windows PCs. Tablet knowledge is just being learned, thus the association with the ipadforums.net. Currently providing consulting on PCs and PC repair for a fee.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

This is the iPad Forum but this thread was opened more that 3 years ago before the first iPad was released and at the time there were rumours that the iPad was to be called the iSlate.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and you will now find that the lead post in this thread has now been edited to iPad.

Enjoy!
