The Final acts in the Monarch saga. The Chrysalis about to break, and the emerging Monarch. I actually managed to video the butterfly emerging today. Cool video, even if I did it! L

Going to amuse myself with my own version of Inktober; by creating a new photo watch-face each day (with probable cheat days). Here is the prolog, DoodleFace 1. There are probably going to be a lot of DoodleFace #’s.

Note: I spent considerable time in the past creating face images, but I almost never use them. I’m too addicted to faces with lots of info on them.

My son was in London from Wednesday to Monday. One of the sights on his list was Greenwich. There’s a Moon exhibition at the moment, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing (it continues until January 5, 2020). He didn’t have the chance to take a look at it, but he bought this book and gave it to me, hoping that he’ll be allowed to read it too.

So, a photo of something with that design, or a doodle you did? Either way, neat!

Thanks.

It’s a Doodle I made using Adobe’s new Fresco app. I decided to give the app a try when I found out it was replacing the Adobe Sketch app. I have several drawing apps, and bounce between them. More often than not I end up going back to Sketchbook. It’s about the right combination of simple and flexible for me. My drawing is usually limited to some simple graphics for other projects, making simplified maps for events, and, of course, doodling. It’s been a while since I’ve challenged myself to do more.

The second doodle face was done in Sketchbook.

I did not consciously imitate a design for either of them, but with abstract art and patterns everywhere, my originality is dubious. :)
