That's also a reason why so many tourists visit us in spring, to watch birds.
I love your waterbirds photos Johanna. Wetlands are a great draw for birds and twitchers.
My Canadian cousin from Beaver Lodge, Ata is a keen bord watcher and takes part on annual bird migration counts. When she visited us I took her to the Sevenoaks Wildfowl Reserve. The place was closed with staff preparing for the open season.. They kindly opened up the centre for us.
