I took this of a rose my daughter gave me. No edits, no gimmicks. Just the way the nature made it.

They look like real people, but not whole. Is there a reason why parts of them were cut away?
They're supposed to represent new immigrants to Canada. I'll photograph the plaque tomorrow and add it to the post, it explains everything.
Interesting photos sci. Are you saying the cut down or incomplete statues represent the immigrants? When I first looked at them I thought they may have been vandalised by someone stealing the copper or brass metal. We've had a spate of copper thefts here in Adelaide due to the high copper prices.

The statues were incomplete on purpose, they haven't been vandalized.
I just like the way this tree looks.
