The cardinal is a fledgling. I don't think its sex will be apparent until it gets a little older.

Awesome pics, Czevski!! Love all the wildlife you saw!

Did you bring your fitbit with you on your walk? :)

Yes! It really keeps me walking. I was surprised at how few steps I take in the house. When I used a pedometer, it was only when I remembered it when I planned a walk. Now I roam the house when my walk is too short.

I know what you mean--I only had about 3000 steps doing things in the house, so I forced myself to go to the gym this evening to use the treadmill. The weather was bad all day, so I couldn't get out to walk at all...had planned to, but it was just too drizzly!

Here's a few pictures I just took. Unfortunately (???) I couldn't get too close to this cute little beast.

Looks a little 'skunky' to me.:)

What a nice walk today. It was too cold and I didn't see many birds but I had a few surprises.

The deer - first I saw one in the distance, as I got closer, I saw 2, and then a third one.

Great photos Czevski. I love that first one. The chicks gathered in by by mum while the old man keeps an eye out on things, security wise:)

It's in our neighborhood.
Normally, it's a beautiful place. Today it was raining and we had thunderstorms, that's why the pictures may look dark.
There are wild horses on the last one.
