With spring coming, the yard is blooming again - below a large Japanese maple (likely 50+ years old) in our back next to the driveway - about 3 or so years ago, noticed its 'offspring' on the other side near the house, about 3 ft tall and would not have any room to grow - SO, had our yard service transplant the 'little guy' in our front yard island - we were dubious, but the leaves have emerged and the tree is now about 8 ft high!
