imovie for ipad2

hi everyone,

just bought an ipad2 and am trying to add some video of my online bingo show to the ipad2 to edit on imovie, i have followed the instructions on imovie which says sync through itunes, clicking on app and adding them that way, but it wont show up on imovie, any ideas on what i could be doing wrong??

any ideas on any other programmes i could use??

i will take any advice, i am blonde and do have blonde moments

Give ReelDirector a go....iMovie can be finicky about what movies you can use.

If you go into your Photos app can you see your imported video (under Albums)? I've never imported a video directly to iMovie.
If you do see the video in the Photos app follow these steps in iMovie.
1. From the main screen click the + symbol to create a new project
2. On the left side of your project page there is an icon that looks like a camera, press it and all of your photos and videos from the Photos app will be accessible in the top left window.
