Incorrect password or username for imap.aol.com

I have set up and used my previously aol on my iPad for emails but tonight it keeps giving me the above message, I have deleted my aol account off of my iPad and tried loading it again but it will not accept my correct password, any ideas please

Hi, i am having the same problem. My email account with aol was hacked so i needed to change my password. My pc is working great but when I changed my password on the mail settings window on my iPad, it tells me that it is not correct and it will not load my mail. So frustrating. Cannot figure out how to correct the problem. Please help me.

Hi CHris, I've not sorted this out yet myself, but it happened at the same time with my iPad and my iPhone 4s so frustrating

I have now sorted this out, went onto computer, changed password and I then deleted my account from pad and iPhone then re-added aol back onto pad and phone using new password and it now words hope this helps
