iOS 11.2.2? (Plus: No iOS 11.x Sub-Forum?)

What's the verdict on iOS 11.2.2? I want my wife and I to be protected from Meltdown and Spectre, but we've held off on previous versions because the track record of iOS 11.x on iPhone 6's and some iPads (ours are 2017 9.7") has been somewhat spotty, to say the least. Have they finally got it right?

As an aside: How come no iOS 11.x sub-forum, yet?

I installed it on my iPad Air 2, an iPhone 6 Plus and an iPhone 7 Plus with no ill effects whatsoever.

As always with Apple updates, iOS 11 introduced some good new features, made some things harder to find, and made some things even harder to read. But 11.2.2 works fine on my Pro 9.7, and is an important security update. If you're already at 11.x, the update is a no-brainer.
