MacRumors writes that Apple has today announced on its App Store support page for developers that iOS 11 is now installed on 76% of devices. This represents an increase of 11% from January 2018, when iOS 11 was installed on 65% of devices, and up 24% from November last year, when it was installed on 52% of devices.
As far as previous iOS versions are concerned, 19% of devices still use iOS 10, and just 5% of devices use even older versions of the OS, such as iOS 9.
In contrast, as far as Android OS adoption rates are concerned, iOS is way out in front, as usual.
By April 16 of this year, just 0.5% of Android devices are running the most up-to-date version of Android Oreo, and only 4.6% have any version of Oreo installed. Most Android devices are still running Android Lollipop, Marshmallow, or Nougat, which were released in 2014, 2015, and 2016, respectively.
