iOS 5 Beta Thoughts

Hey I have an ipad 2 verizon 3g and I wanted to go to ios5. Is it alright as long as I use the ipad 2 cdma restore?

The verizon iPad 2 is cdma.

I've loaded iOS 5 (twice) on my iPad 2 (wifi) and still I'm having trouble with the Calendar app quitting when I try to edit an existing entry. It works fine otherwise. Anyone else having this issue? Any thoughts? Everything else so far is working well.

Works fine on mine. Also have iCloud music working which is real cool Indicates when select music purchased tab in itunes on the iPad and it shows all music that i purchased . The iCloud icon shows available to down load if not on the iPad. The scanning feature is not active yet

Yeah, same and it's beautifully created. Apps are working the same for me between computer, iPhone4 and ipad2.

I thought iOS 5 is suppose to have widgets? If the iPad had them how do I get to them?

Been reading around and I have a theory. Since there is no weather or stocks app on the iPad per installed like on iPhone there won't be stock widgets for it. Apple will use it for developers is my guess, so that they can make more money. The iPad doesn't have the weather, stocks, calculator, etc on it already so you have to go to the app store to find apps for those purposes. So I'm sure they will be able to incorporate widgets with their apps. This is what I'm hoping at least. Apple is all about those Benjamins.

Its not available just yet from what I understand, but you should be getting background synching which means you can use it while synching.

I get notifications for Bug Village but it won't display. Does this mean my ants and bees will quit working and die That is one way to be weaned off a game

Solitaire still works.

The Mail App allows you to keep 1000 emails instead of just 200. I also found you can choose a backup server to send email. Which is good for 3G especially as it had my 3G mail server already listed. Was that in iOS 4?
