IOS 6 looks crisper on ipad3

Not sure if its my imagination but the graphics on my iPad 3 appear even crisper since I updated to IOS 6. Is this possible?

I thought my eyes were playing tricks or I had my brightness set too high. I agree, everything looks crisper on my I-Pad 3 with I-OS6.

New IOS. New graphical resources. Every opportunity for Apple to optimise them for the retina display. You are not imagining it

I'm afraid the first iPad will not be getting this update at all.....as far as we know 5.1.1 was the last one.

I like the app store more now! The search engine works great in it, giving all the different options...! Barring the maps, everything else is just perfect in IOS 6...
