ipad 1 restore problems

I have read and re-read this thread many times - and I am still confused!

When you reboot your iPad, tethered, what firmware does your Settings app say you are running? Does it run fine on that firmware?

I ask (and am confused) because you say you have restored/rebooted to iOS 4.3.3, yet that's impossible without SHSH blobs.

I just want to know what version you are running when you are actually using the iPad (and you've rebooted it).

if i boot tetherd the settings app says its on 4.3.3
if i install 4.3.5 the ipad then boots fine

That's not right though. The jailbreak for 4.3.3 is untethered. If you had blobs inwpuld say restore to stock, then run redsnow but don't check the box "just boot tethered".

this is what i have just done
i was on 4.3.5 with blobs for just 4.3.4 and 4.3.5
loaded redsnow abd selected just enter dfu mode now then loaded tiny umbrella started tss loaded itunes selected stock 4.3.3 it went well and i received this

then the ipad just stayed at a black screen so opened redsnow and selected just boot tetherd now and it booted the ipad heres my about page

now do u guys understand my confusion ?

I have exactly the same problem.
Cydia only saved a 4.3.5 shsh while i was on 4.2.1
then i recovered/upgraded to 4.3.3, did a jailbreakme.com(and tinyumbrella)
and then itunes keeps (or actually the ipad itself) in recovery mode.
When you 'just boot' it through redsn0w, it works perfectly (cydia, apps, everything) , but after shutting it down it just stays in recovery mode.
